Union warns of dispute with Network Rail over further job losses
‘Our union will not tolerate the use of compulsory redundancies,’ TSSA General secretary Manuel Corte said
TRANSPORT union TSSA warned of a dispute with Network Rail today after the company announced hundreds of further job losses and refused to rule out compulsory redundancies.
The union said that bosses are looking to cut more than 900 management-grade jobs after over 1,000 left under voluntary severance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Any attempt to force workers out the door will spark a reaction, TSSA stressed.
