Stress, low pay and excessive workloads leading most NHS workers to consider quitting, survey finds
STRESS, low pay, excessive workloads and mental health pressures are leading most NHS workers to consider quitting, a GMB survey published yesterday suggests.
In a poll of almost 1,000 of the health union’s members, more than 70 per cent reported that they had thought about leaving in the past six months.
The figure represents a rise on last year, when 61 per cent of NHS workers said that they had considered quitting.
