Over 100,000 children withdrawn from school last week after testing positive for Covid-19
MORE than 100,000 children were withdrawn from school in England last week after testing positive for Covid-19, according to government figures.
The NEU accused the government of not doing enough to prevent the spread of the virus in schools since they reopened in September.
NEU general secretary Kevin Courtney said: “The rise in Covid-19 cases in schools in England is extremely worrying.
