NHS faces industrial action after GMB joins other unions in rejecting 3 per cent pay offer
LOOMING industrial action faces the NHS after health workers in GMB joined other unions today in rejecting the government’s 3 per cent pay rise.
The GMB union called for an urgent meeting with Health Secretary Sajid Javid after more than nine in every 10 of its members voted to oppose the “insulting pay offer.”
Members of Unison and the Royal College of Nursing have also voted against the pay rise in the last week.
