LOW pay and insecure work is having a disproportionate effect on black workers, the government’s Low Pay Commission (LPC) was told today.
Black members of retail and distribution union Usdaw were giving evidence to an LPC investigation into low pay.
The union is campaigning for a minimum wage of £10 an hour and trade union rights for all workers.
