RETAILER Wilko’s attempts to slash sick pay for tens of thousands of workers will be resisted by GMB, the union vowed today.
Wilko — formerly Wilkinson — operates a nationwide chain of stores and distribution centres selling household goods.
The firm has a turnover of more than £1.5 billion and employs more than 21,000 workers.
