Anti-racists to oppose Italy's far-right leader Salvini's trip to Liverpool

ANTI-RACISM and fascism campaigners will mobilise in Liverpool after it was revealed today that Italy’s far-right leader Matteo Salvini will host an event in the city.

Mr Salvini of Lega (the League) is known for his strong anti-immigrant views and has previously called for a “mass cleansing” in the country.

Italy’s former deputy prime minister also announced his intention to identify and deport Roma people from the country.
