US coalition kills 50 in Syrian airstrike

US-LED coalition bombs killed at least 50 civilians in the Syrian province of Deir Ezzor yesterday with dozens of children included among the victims, local sources reported.

Air strikes targeted the al-Baghouz camp were the last remaining Isis jihadist groups have been holed up along with an unknown number of civilians.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (Sana) warned that the death toll was likely to be higher, with many people injured in the bombing raid which targeted dozens of families trying to escape the area.
