STUC leader hits out at bullying by energy firm

SCOTLAND’S top trade unionist has accused British Gas of bullying striking workers, reiterating that the company must face consequences. 

Roz Foyer, general secretary of the STUC, made her declaration following the decision to sack hundreds of staff by bosses on Wednesday. 

Workers have been on strike throughout the year, refusing to sign “fire & rehire” contracts attacking pay and conditions.
