Spanish communists demonstrate for a third republic on 90th anniversary of the second

SPAIN’S communists joined socially distanced demonstrations in favour of a third republic today in towns and cities across the country.

The actions, taken in compliance with regional public health restrictions, marked the 90th anniversary of the proclamation of the Spanish second republic in 1931.

“There is a vaccine against fascism, against corruption, and for equality — it is called the republic,” the Communist Party of Spain (PCE) declared.
