JEREMY CORBYN issued a rallying cry for action to tackle global inequality and the climate emergency today as he launched his new Peace and Justice Project.
The former Labour leader was joined at an online rally by prominent left figures including Unite general secretary Len McCluskey, academic Noam Chomsky and fellow Labour MP Zarah Sultana.
Mr Corbyn said: “The pandemic is intensifying three deep, connected and global crises: the climate emergency, an economy that generates inequality and insecurity faster than prosperity and freedom — and a global order that holds back the vast majority of our planet’s people.
