East Asian countries impose new restrictions over increase in Covid cases
CORONAVIRUS restrictions are being reimposed in east Asia following renewed outbreaks in South Korea and cases in a number of Chinese cities.
Seoul has reimposed social-distancing measures including closing nightclubs and limiting public transport as well as bans on public rallies and political demonstrations of more than 10 people.
The measures are in response to South Korea reporting 271 new cases of the virus: a fraction of Britain’s daily increase of 18,662.
