A FORMER elected SNP official has called for an independent inquiry into the party’s handling of transphobic behaviour.
Ex-branch official Emma Cuthbertson accused some within the party of treating the abuse of trans people as “acceptable collateral damage to maintain party unity.”
Ms Cuthbertson said she was the victim of transphobic abuse from SNP members, including MSPs and MPs.
