Women’s conference must champion solidarity with those in Turkey
SARAH-JANE McDONOUGH has been at the forefront of efforts to build bridges between female workers in Britain and those struggling against Erdogan’s backward regime
TIME TO ACT: The working-class women’s movement in Britain must continue to extend its solidarity to those women struggling against the reactionary government in Turkey

THIS week’s Women’s TUC conference will bring together over 150 women from 34 unions.

Delegates will debate subjects such as state pension inequality, equal pay, the menopause in the workplace and the hidden homeless.

This conference always has a great feeling of solidarity. Women come together to fight for our rights, as we have always had to do.
