Lib Dem leader urged to support Corbyn's proposed caretaker government
Liberal Democrat leader Jo Swinson

TORY Remainers and Labour rightwingers expressed interest in Jeremy Corbyn’s proposal that he head a caretaker government to stop a no-deal Brexit today despite Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson rejecting the idea.

She said she would not support him taking the helm of a “strictly time-limited” government.

This was despite her having said in her leadership acceptance speech earlier this week that she would “stand ready to work with anyone” to stop a no-deal Brexit.
