Peter Crouch retires from football

FORMER England international Peter Crouch announced today via Twitter that he has decided to retire from football. 

Crouch, who’s contract with Burnley expired at the start of the summer, said: “After a lot of deliberation I have decided to retire from football! Our wonderful game has given me everything. I’m thankful to everyone who helped me get here and to help me stay for so long.”

The 6-foot-7 striker played for a variety of clubs during his period in English football including QPR, Portsmouth, Southampton, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City.
