Tottenham to host Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

AFTER the fixtures for the Women’s Super League (WSL) were announced yesterday morning, it was revealed that Tottenham will host north London rivals and WSL champions Arsenal on November 17.

The game will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is one of a few fixtures that will be played in a stadium typically played in by the men’s first team.

The move is one that is looking to enhance the popularity of women’s football after a record-breaking World Cup in France during the summer and England’s superb run to the semi-final where they lost to eventual winners the United States.
