BRITAIN forward Sam Ward was bemoaning sport’s “fine margins” after his penalty-corner “goal” with 17 seconds remaining against Spain on Saturday was chalked off.
Not only did this prevent Britain’s men from winning their Saturday lunchtime clash, but they went on to lose the shoot-out to the Red Sticks to put a slight dampener on their strong start to the FIH Pro League campaign.
