Tories in meltdown over Brexit

THE Tories are descending further into chaos over Brexit with one Conservative MP telling Chancellor Philip Hammond “up yours” on live radio and another resigning from the party after his motion was rejected.

Brexiteer MP Mark Francois also accused pro-Remainer Mr Hammond of leading a Cabinet faction who “attempted to stop us leaving the European Union.”

He made the comments after MPs in favour of Britain remaining in a customs union, as an alternative to Prime Minister Theresa May’s thrice-rejected deal, lost an indicative vote by three votes.
