May's 11th hour attempt to get Brexit deal approved is ‘desperate’

MPs are expected to vote for just half of Theresa May’s Brexit plan tomorrow in what Labour described as her “desperate” attempt to force the deal through at the eleventh hour.

Ministers were privately suggesting that a general election would be called if the vote is blocked or if further votes on Brexit motions next week “fall apart,” Huffington Post’s Paul Waugh tweeted.

Leader of the House Andrea Leadsom suggested today that the Withdrawal Agreement and Political Declaration package would be split and MPs would vote on the agreement only.
