DONALD TRUMP was calling for a war for oil with Venezuela two years ago, conversations revealed by former FBI chief Andrew McCabe show.
Mr McCabe, who published a book on the agency’s relations with Mr Trump called The Threat this week, reports the president saying: “I don’t understand why we’re not looking at Venezuela. Why we’re not at war with Venezuela? They have all the oil and they’re in our back door.”
The explosive remark was picked up by the Defend Assange Campaign and Media Lens, which noted it had not been mentioned at all in British media.
