Subcontracted or not, workers deserve better

CLEANERS in three high-profile London workplaces will begin a simultaneous strike campaign next Tuesday.

United Voices of the World (UVW) is co-ordinating disputes at the Ministry of Justice’s (MoJ) Petty France HQ, the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea Town Halls (RBKC), and HCA Healthcare UK. 

The cleaners’ shared demands are for the cost-adjusted London living wage, occupational sick pay and parity of terms with directly employed staff.
