A FLURRY of right-wing rags have resurrected a decade-old conviction that was already in the public domain in a bid to discredit top Jeremy Corbyn aide Marshajane Thompson.
Stories published yesterday in the Telegraph, Evening Standard and Daily Mail “revealed” that the new Labour Party campaign manager was convicted of using a false instrument and false accounting in 2006.
However she has long since completed the 100 hours of community service she was sentenced to for wrongly claiming the equivalent of £21.15.
