NORTH KOREA: UN envoy and former US diplomat Jeffrey Feltman met Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho yesterday — as Pyongyang said US military manoeuvres made war inevitable.

North Korean media said they two discussed UN aid missions there and “other matters of mutual concern.”

Meanwhile a Pyongyang Foreign Ministry spokesman said the ongoing war games in South Korea and “bellicose comments” by CIA director Mike Pompeo and others meant: “The remaining question now is: when will the war break out?”
