North Korea: Pyongyang ‘ready to mass-produce missiles’

NORTH KOREA said yesterday that it was ready to deploy and mass-produce the new missile type tested on Sunday.

The solid-fuel Pukguksong-2 missile flew about 310 miles and reached a height of 350 miles on Sunday before plunging into the Pacific Ocean.

The official Korean Central News Agency said dynastic leader Kim Jong Un had deemed the launch a success and that more would be launched in the future.
