Supreme Court judges rule that Rangers broke tax laws

SCOTTISH football’s longest-running financial scandal finally came to a close yesterday when London’s Supreme Court threw out an appeal by Rangers liquidators BDO.

Judges agreed with HM Revenue and Customs that the use of employee benefit trusts (EBTs) broke tax rules.
