UN punishes Pyongyang
NORTH Korea has been hit with more punitive sanctions following a unanimous United Nations security council vote.
All nations are now banned from importing coal, iron, lead or seafood from North Korea as well as from using the country’s workers, who send remittances back to the state.
The sanctions could cut Pyongyang’s annual exports by a third, supposedly crippling its nuclear arms programme.
