Trump says Xi is leaning on North

US PRESIDENT Donald Trump said at the weekend that he believes his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping is putting pressure on North Korea to halt missile and nuclear tests.

In interview broadcast yesterday and recorded hours after another North Korean ballistic missile test on Saturday, Mr Trump said he and Mr Xi both opposed further nuclear weapons testing by Pyongyang.
