MARTIN SHAW seems to be making a habit of playing stage roles familiar from films of the past.

A few years ago, he played the lead role in Twelve Angry Men and now he is taking on the character of Henry Hobson, memorably played by Charles Laughton in David Lean’s 1954 film of Hobson’s Choice.
