Unions gather in Seoul in solidarity with jailed comrades

TRADE unionists from around the world gathered in South Korea’s capital Seoul yesterday in solidarity with jailed comrades.

They held a press conference at Seoul railway station before a major rally to demand the right to strike and protest — and freedom for jailed union leaders — ahead of a major public-sector strike this week.
