South Korea: Park delivers emotional apology to the nation
SOUTH Korean President Park Geun Hye made an emotional appeal for forgiveness yesterday over allegations she allowed a close friend to influence government decisions and funds.
“I feel a huge responsibility deep in my heart,” Ms Park professed in a televised address to the nation.
“It is all my fault and mistake. Sad thoughts trouble my sleep at night.”
