Palestine: Ministry calls Israeli killing of four men ‘escalation’

PALESTINE’S Foreign Ministry warned yesterday that the killing of four youths by Israeli forces was a “dangerous escalation.”

Four Palestinian boys aged between 16 and 19, all from the West Bank town of Sa’ir, near Hebron, were shot dead in two separate incidents after allegedly attacking Israeli occupation troops with knives.

No Israelis were injured in either incident.

  • UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) director Felipe Sanchez yesterday condemned Israel’s demolition of Bedouin homes in the West Bank village of Abu Nwar on Wednesday.
  • Israeli police yesterday killed the suspect in last week’s deadly Tel Aviv bar shooting.
