North Korea: Kim orders nuclear war alert as UN sanctions take effect

NORTH KOREAN leader Kim Jong Un ordered his country’s military onto readiness for nuclear war yesterday as UN sanctions were implemented and South Korea held military manoeuvres.
A government statement called the tough UN sanctions over its recent nuclear weapons test and satellite launch the “most heinous international criminal act” aimed at isolating and stifling the country.
