TEACHERS need to take back control over their professions, new NASUWT union president Kathy Wallis urged in her address to members yesterday.
The newly empowered president used her first official national conference speech yesterday to encourage teachers to fight for their rights at work and against the government’s dismissal of professional opinions.
She said: “I am fed up with the problems of the world all being laid at the feet of some of the most talented and inspirational people in Britain.
