TORY grandee Nigel Lawson hit out yesterday at the “scandal” of the government blowing £9 million of taxpayers’ money on pro-EU leaflets.
The former chancellor, a key figure in the Vote Leave campaign, said on BBC 1’s Andrew Marr Show that it was “outrageous” that “pretty worthless propaganda” was being sent out “with the Civil Service behind it.”
