DAVID CAMERON would use an EU Leave vote to launch vicious attacks on workers’ rights, leader Dave Ward said yesterday as communications union CWU endorsed a Remain vote.
Mr Ward said the debate on the European Union had shut out workers’ voices and that the CWU could offer “a distinct labour movement voice” for staying in, “recognising the need for reform.”
The EU introduced directives deregulating the postal sector years after the British government started to prepare Royal Mail for the market, he said.
