THREE unions hit out at the “anti-worker” EU yesterday in a joint statement opposing Britain’s membership.
Rail unions RMT and Aslef and bakers’ union BFAWU set out the left agenda for Brexit, distancing themselves from Ukip’s “fortress Britain” agenda.
They reminded voters that the EU cannot be reformed, saying: “We support a Leave vote in the referendum because we believe the EU acts overwhelmingly in the interests of big business and against the interests of workers.”
