Poem [Richard Dawkins has had his honey confiscated]
Niall O'Sullivan
Richard Dawkins has had his honey confiscated!
I was pushing the buggy to Herne Hill Station
past countless undraped windows revealing
low glass coffee tables and kids rehearsing
on pianos cellos and violins but never guitars
when suddenly I scrolled down to a tweet that said
RICHARD DAWKINS HAS HAD HIS HONEY CONFISCATED
no child played the violin where I grew up
I got booted out of recorder class at age seven
I have been a surly drunken fool at Customs
but I have never had my honey confiscated
Oh Richard Dawkins we love you shut up
