Phill Jupitus - Mistletoe in The Bell, 1980
Edited by JODY PORTER

Mistletoe in The Bell, 1980
Phill Jupitus

That Christmas Eve
Emotionally speaking
I was never built
For the events
My resilience seemingly
Constructed by cowboys
On a Friday
On a bank holiday

In weak mitigation
We were both smashed
And so was he
It was nothing personal
Just a bit of fun
To you it was nothing
To me it was everything
