CRIME: A woman aged in her 80s fought off a robber yesterday by punching him in the face.

The plucky pensioner was walking her dog in an alleyway Kent when she was grabbed by the male attacker who was wearing black clothes and a hooded top to hide his face.

The elderly woman managed to fend off the mugger by punching him in the mouth in the incident which happened at 7.20am.
