MEN’S RUGBY LEAGUE: Toulouse followed up last week’s 60-18 thrashing of Catalans Dragons by thumping injury-hit St Helens 48-0 at Langtree Park on Sunday.

Centre Mathieu Jussaume bagged a hat-trick of tries as the Frenchmen climbed to ninth in the Super League, just two places below the Saints, who dropped out of the play-off places.

MEN’S TENNIS: Jannik Sinner took pride in again bouncing back from adversity as he celebrated retaining his Wimbledon title on Sunday.

The world number one dramatically wilted in the heat at Roland Garros but stamped his authority firmly back on men’s tennis by battling to a 6-7 (7) 7-6 (2) 6-3 6-4 victory over Alexander Zverev to claim a fifth major crown.

The pair battled it out on Centre Court for a total of three hours and 46 minutes.
