LEAVING the EU could cause splits within the Conservative Party unless PM Theresa May eradicates “disastrous and divisive” views within her government, Labour taunted yesterday.
Shadow Brexit secretary Keir Starmer said inner-party strife could force Ms May back to Brussels if she gets a bad deal.
Speaking at Chatham House, he called on the PM to prioritise a “transitional arrangement” until a good permanent trade deal can be agreed.
