US to deploy more missiles in response to nuclear test

CHINA blamed the US for inflaming the Korean nuclear crisis yesterday by planning to send two aircraft capable of carrying nuclear missiles to the peninsula.

South Korea’s state news agency Yonhap said the US Air Force will send two B-1 bombers, capable of carrying 24 atomic weapons, to its base near Seoul in a show of strength following North Korea’s latest nuclear test on Friday.

The aircraft were meant to arrive in South Korea on Monday however the bombers ‘transferral from the Pacific island of Guam was delayed by 24 hours due to bad weather.
