THE NASUWT has announced that it is working with charity Citizens UK on an initiative to help young refugees.

Campaigns official Fred Grindrod said the accreditation scheme for schools would ensure that children settle in better and secure support for those with specific needs such as treatment for mental-health issues.

Teachers agreed that the scheme is necessary.
