Crane collapse leaves two construction workers dead

TWO construction workers were killed when a crane collapsed at a construction site in Crewe, it was revealed yesterday.

Wednesday’s accident happened as the Unite union revealed that safety inspections on building sites were down by 14 per cent due to government cuts.

The crane collapsed on a construction site operated by residential developer Seddon.
