Senior judges begin hearing appeal against Brexit ruling

SUPREME COURT judges were urged by the government yesterday to overturn a ruling that the Prime Minister cannot begin the process of taking Britain out of the EU without MPs’ approval.

Ministers are seeking to overturn last month’s decision by three High Court judges barring Theresa May from using the royal

prerogative to trigger the two-year Brexit process.
