EUROPEAN Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker has been smashed by a Polish MP who accused him of “offensive” behaviour during an audience with Pope Francis.
Krystyna Pawlowicz has taken Mr Juncker to task for his supposed “alcohol dependency” which, she said, posed a problem for “the entire European community,” the Catholic Herald reported yesterday.
Ms Pawlowicz accused Mr Juncker of being tired and emotional during a shindig with the Pope and other dignitaries to mark the 60th birthday of the European Community.
