NUT Conference: Over 90% of heads against Tories’ ideological academy school drive
School leaders come out against bid to privatise primary schools

THE vast majority of school heads and their deputies are opposed to Tory education policies, a damning survey of senior staff revealed yesterday.

More than 90 per cent of school leaders polled by the National Union of Teachers (NUT) agreed it was “inappropriate” for the government to enforce the academisation of 17,000 primary schools.
