PKK blamed for deadly bombings

TURKISH authorities blamed Kurdish separatists yesterday for a string of bombings that left at least 11 dead and 226 injured.

Four soldiers were killed yesterday in a roadside bomb attack on a convoy in the town of Bitlis, the capital of the majority-Kurdish south-eastern province of the same name.
