Osborne’s monster budget cuts slammed
Unions label Chancellor an ‘economic Frankenstein’

GEORGE OSBORNE is acting “like some economic Dr Frankenstein” doing “wild experiments” on British living standards, the leader of Britain’s largest union said yesterday.

Unite general secretary Len McCluskey said the government’s spending review would “hurt businesses and people struggling to make ends meet.”

Unions reacted angrily to the Tory Chancellor’s lip-service to promoting British industry and his failure to invest in public services and infrastructure.
